PhoTect is the name chosen by Richard Ellis to represent his work in photography. The word is a portmanteau of Photo (light) and Tecton (builder).
The thematic material is centred on architecture, and includes landscape, art, product and process. The aim is to create images which reach the essence of their subjects, and which may be works of art in their own right.
